  JC Cutting Horses and the Pennsylvania Farm Show held the second
annual Versatility Challenge on January 16, 2010.

   We had a tremendous response and opened up the competition to 14
riders from Pennsylvania and NY.

    Each rider negotiated an obstacle course on horseback.  Riders were
scored on horsemanship, 0 to 5, on their ability to complete the obstacle.
The last portion of the course was ridden in a halter only.

                                              Our Champion was Luke Reinbold of         
                                        Painted Horizonz QH, NY.  Luke captured the
                                       title with a perfect score.  Our Reserve              
                                        Champion was Sally Addington and Jeff Gettys
                                       was Third.  Rounding out our Top Five was
                                       Karen Arthur of Chappaqua, NY.  Karen
                                       was also Top Five in 2009, ridding Boonie Bar,
                                       her 27 year old champion cutting horse. Lakin
                                       Harris was also Top Five, and was our               
                                        youngest competitor at 14 years old.
