Berks Equine Council and JC Cutting

Horses hosted an Open House on

April 25.  Over 50 people stopped by

the farm to share refreshments and

comraderie.  They were also treated

to demonstrations of cutting and

Versatility by the riders at the farm.

A good time was had by all.
Heather Garland shows the crowd how to

swing a lariat as her horse Kitty stands

quietly.  Participants in Versatility could be

asked to rope an object in competition.
Hank drops his bridle to show the crowd

how he can negotiate obstacles with nothing

on his head.  Jann cues Hank with only

her legs and seat.
John and Magic cut a cow to demonstrate

actual cutting competiton.  Magic has won

multiple championships in this NCHA sport.
